     Allen’s background suggests that he has a strong sense of duty and service. Growing up in Christian County, KY and graduating from Christian County High School in 1988, he likely developed a strong connection to his local community. Joining the Navy in 1990, he served during Operation Desert Storm, which suggests that he was willing to put himself in harm’s way for his country.

While stationed in Sicily IT at the Naval Communications Station, Allen was responsible for ship-to-shore communications in the Mediterranean Sea for NATO and COMSIXTHFLEET. His service on the USS Saratoga CV-60 for its farewell deployment in the Mediterranean Sea further highlights his dedication and commitment to his country. The Saratoga and her battlegroup were responsible for providing support in Deny Flight and Provide Promise for the war-torn country Yugoslavia.

Allen’s service in the Navy earned him several medals and commendations, including the National Defense Service Medal, Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation, Letter of Commendation, and the Navy Good Conduct Medal. These honors reflect his hard work and dedication during his time in the Navy.

After leaving the service, Allen moved to Memphis, TN, where he continued working in the communications field. His current residence in Burns, TN, suggests that he has remained connected to the region and possibly the military community. Overall, Allen’s background reflects a commitment to service, dedication, and hard work.
